FIT INDIA MOVEMENT – FITNESS WEEK

“If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health” To celebrate Fit India School week, a special morning assembly was organized. The Principal addressed the students and highlighted the importance of physical fitness in a student’s life. Fitness is defined as the state of being physically fit and healthy. It refers to optimal health and overall well-being. Being fit not only means physical health, but emotional and mental health, too. Physically fit people are much more productive & successful in their life. It is not just how the body looks or how much exercises a person can do. It’s the general health of a person who is physically and mentally fit. It does not matter what type of physical activity...

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

International Yoga Day A special assembly was organized to celebrate the International Yoga Day. The principal explained to students the importance and benefits of practicing Yoga. He also explained the contribution of yoga in maintaining fitness and good health and how it helps the students to memorize and understand the subject concepts and its context. Yoga is the scientific way to live healthy and to increase life expectancy. The selected students demonstrated the different types of yoga.
