“If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health”
To celebrate Fit India School week, a special morning assembly was organized. The Principal addressed the students and highlighted the importance of physical fitness in a student’s life. Fitness is defined as the state of being physically fit and healthy. It refers to optimal health and overall well-being. Being fit not only means physical health, but emotional and mental health, too. Physically fit people are much more productive & successful in their life. It is not just how the body looks or how much exercises a person can do. It’s the general health of a person who is physically and mentally fit. It does not matter what type of physical activity you perform – whether it is sports, routine exercise or yoga, household chores, field work, etc – all are beneficial. Research consistently shows that regular physical activity, combined with a healthy diet, is the most efficient way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. So it’s time for you to play some sports, get involved in physical activities to experience happiness, peace and to enjoy energetic and enthusiastic lifestyle. Students participated in athletic sports events and yoga and won laurels for the school in the Athletic Meet organized by Central Travancore Sahodaya Complex and Yoga Championship on 30 November 2019
The things that make us healthy tend to keep the environment healthy and things that make the environment unhealthy tend to make us unhealthy. Fr.
